I'm sorry for taking a short break from here, it was due to certain reasons... please pardon your little girl 🤗🤗.
I pray your eyes of understanding is enlightened as you go through this in Jesus name.
I woke up on a Monday morning, with a severe pain at the right side of my abdomen. Although I've been feeling this pain for a while and all I did was to use some analgesics to relieve myself of the pain, but it seems it got worse that particular morning.
When my roommate saw how I was behaving, she advised me again to see the doctor, like she always do. I was reluctant at first, but later, i agreed to go to the hospital.
On getting to the hospital, the physician asked me some questions and carried out an abdominal scan on me. After series of investigations, I was diagnosed of Appendicitis (inflammation of the appendix). It had gotten worse to the extent that antibiotics could no longer work and I was told I had to undergo surgery.
I was very scared and left the hospital with an heavy heart.
On getting back to my hostel, I was so sad and don't even know what to do, but in the midst of all, I could hear an inward voice saying to me that "whose report will I believe; God's or Doctor's?
That word kept ringing in my spirit and it was as though it aroused something inside of me.
With faith, I started praying and confessing the words the Lord has given to me concerning my health.
I continued with this for days without any improvement on my health. It got to a stage that I almost gave up, but I kept encouraging myself regardless of how I was feeling. It wasn't easy at first but i kept on praying with faith in my heart.
After few weeks, I felt a relief in my right abdomen, as though the pain had disappeared.
I was very happy but yet, I still wanted to be sure that the inflammation had gone. So, I went back to the hospital and asked the doctor to carry out another abdominal scan on me. He was very surprised at my request, but agreed to re-do the scan. To his surprise he couldn't find any traces of inflammation in my appendix.
He asked me what I did to the inflammation, all I could say was that "It's the work of God and what he cannot do, does not exist"
(The story is a work of fiction as inspired by the holy Spirit)
*************
What is the current state of your health? How are you feeling now? Which situation do you find yourself in that makes you think all cannot be well with you?
It doesn't matter how you are feeling, what matters is what God is saying concerning the situation.
But if I may ask, do you know the mind of God concerning the situation you find yourself? Have you even taken time to seek his face?
God is intentional about our lives and the plans he has toward us are good and not of evil to give us an expected end.
Regardless of how worse you think your own story or condition might be, GOD'S WORD IS STILL VALID.
He will not go back on his word, all you have to do is to keep confessing and believing that he is more than able to bring to pass everything he has said.
However, the only way to walk into God's promises for you is through Faith; the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
Faith doesn't look at the present, rather it looks at the future and is so sure of the future that has not been seen.
Faith is when you keep seeing a bag as white because God has told you it is white even when you are seeing a black bag with your physical eyes. You can read that again!
God is not a man that he should lie, if what he has said concerning your finances is prosperity, he will surely do it even when you don't look like it at first.
If he has promised you a good health but it seems your health is failing, don't give up because he will surely restore good health to you.
Isa.55.10 - As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
Isa.55.11 - so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Don't give up!
Keep confessing God's word!
Keep believing His promises for you!
Don't give in to fear because it would hinder you from receiving the promise.
God's words are Yea and Amen.
Hold unto him and you will not be ashamed.
